Sign Up Questions
How do I receive a OfficeAddress virtual mailing address?
After you sign up for a new account, we will determine your box number and generate a custom shipping addresses for you. Your shipping address will also be shared with you via email.
Is this a PO BOX address?
Many sellers do not ship to PO BOX addresses. The reason is that FedEx, UPS and DHL do not deliver packages to PO BOX. Our address is not a PO BOX address. We are located in Prince Edward Island’s showcase facility staffed with full-time employees from 9.00 AM till 5.00 PM Monday through Friday therefore there is always someone available to receive incoming mail. Just because part of your address is mailbox or suite number does not mean it is a PO BOX address.
Starting and Setting Up
Can I use "Apartment," "Unit," or "#" with my mailbox number?
Yes, you may format your address and mailbox number any way you like, as long as the location address and the mailbox number appear somewhere in the mailing address. You can split the mailing address into two lines, like this:

#7890
Canada
Additionally, you can use “Unit” or “PMB” in place of the “#” or completely omit any prefix (e.g. “7890″). You can also put your mailbox number in any form field asking for the suite or apartment number.

Can I update or remove recipients?
We allow recipient removal, but it must be approved by our staff. We may restrict this if we detect frequent changes to the list or abuse.
To update recipients, first add the new recipient(s). Then, to remove recipients, send an email to customer support and indicate the recipient name(s) you wish to remove.
Do you receive mail and packages from FedEx, UPS, and other couriers?
We accept mail and packages from all couriers, including FedEx and UPS. A regular PO box only allows you to accept mail from Canada Post itself. Should an item require a signature for delivery, we will sign for it here and induct the item into the appropriate mailbox account.
Can I opt out of certain notification emails?
Currently, there is no setting to disable this feature.
Processing Your Mail
Can I pick up my mail in person?
As OfficeAddress™ is not a retail store, we are not open to the general public. Therefore, you must send us an email ahead of time to arrange a mail forwarding shipment for you for the destination address.
Where is my mail?
If you are expecting mail and have not received it, there are a couple of things you can do:
If you are forwarding all of your mail to us, make sure you have filed a Change of Address request with Canada Post. It can take up to two weeks for your mail to start trickling in.
Please allow three to five business days for mail to be delivered after it has been sent out.
Mail processing may be delayed or returned to the sender for any of these reasons:
The address is incorrect. Make sure that the street address exactly as provided at the time of your Sign-up
The mailbox number is not on the mail piece.
The recipient of the mail piece is not listed on your account.
The mail you’re attempting to receive is a Google Adsense PIN mail. Per our terms of service, we do not accept these mail pieces.
If you have checked everything and still do not see your mail, please contact us so we can help diagnose the issue. If you have a tracking number, please provide it; this is the best way to confirm the receipt of mail.
Shipping and Package Forwarding
How will OfficeAddress know which mail is mine?
As soon as you complete your registration, we will assign a mailbox number to you. You will use this box number with your name and our address as the shipping address. Once any of your mail arrives we will see your name and mailbox number on it. We will notify you by email and you will also see the mail in your account.
Can you consolidate my mail into one big package?
Yes, we can consolidate mail into one big package. These is a CDN $1 charge for consolidation.
